Mornings come early, but one thing that can make them just a little bit better is a great breakfast. Here in Ottawa, OH, the best breakfast places are easy to get to in your comfy Chevy Equinox. Plus, you have room for the whole family to come along. Just think how much better the day could be if everyone gets to start it with some pancakes!

The Schnipke Inn

You’ll find this delicious spot at 202 W. Main St. They are open from 7 AM until 2 PM for breakfast and lunch from Tuesday through Sunday. On Tuesday through Saturday, the Schnipke Inn is also open for dinner from 4 PM until 10 PM. On Mondays, they are only open during the dinner hours. Just give them a call if you are planning on coming, though, as they sometimes close up for renovations or cleaning.

For breakfast, we recommend the farmer’s breakfast. All farmer’s breakfast options come with toast, two eggs, and potatoes. From there, you choose your meats. You can get one or two pork chops, a 6-ounce or 12-ounce steak, or your choice of breakfast meats. They have great pancakes, delicious French Toast, and excellent made-to-order omelets: we are also big fans of their hashbrowns.

Well Grounded Café

If you want your breakfast to be a delicious, sippable one, the Well Grounded Café is for you. This spot is open from 6 AM until 2 PM Monday through Friday. On Saturday, they open a little bit later at 7 AM. They are closed on Sundays. Find them at 114 N Elm St. The atmosphere here is very welcoming and enjoyable, the staff are friendly, and you’re going to get some of the best coffee you will ever taste: made with love by people who really passionate about what they do.

We love their regular coffee, but we are also fond of a number of their signature drinks. Try the Fleetwood Macchiato, which is a caramel macchiato, hot or iced, with this amazing caramel drizzle on the top of it. We also like the Tommy G Cinnamon D, which is an espresso drink that comes with hot or iced milk, cinnamon syrup, and whipped cream. They also have an absolutely fantastic mango smoothie that keeps us powered up all day long.

Henry’s Restaurant

Head over to 810 North Locust St. to try Henry’s. Henry’s is open from a predictable 8 AM until 9 PM every day of the week. And if you want something really special, head over here on Sundays for the buffet, which runs from 9 AM until 2 AM. This is a great hometown dining spot.

For breakfast, they have three-egg omelets and all kinds of griddle choices. We also like their chopped steak and eggs, and the Rancher: which is two pancakes, French toast, or a waffle with eggs, breakfast meat, and potatoes. If you’re having trouble deciding, you really need to try their buttermilk Belgian waffle. They make it with a malted buttermilk better, and it’s to die for.
